Angela McLean
Meet our Provincial Coordinator for Enough Already, Angela McLean.
Angela is passionate about preventing gender-based violence through education and collaboration, with a focus on creating workplaces where everyone can feel safe, respected, and included. She has studied at the Labour College of Canada and the University of Regina, and is a labour and administration expert whose work is grounded in an anti-oppression and anti-colonial understanding of gender-based violence. Angela’s background in advocacy and union relations have led to a strong belief in the profound impact that informed, supportive communities can have on healing and resilience.
Angela believes meaningful prevention requires challenging harmful norms, promoting equity, and building cultures of accountability. She is committed to working with employers, unions, communities, and partners across Saskatchewan to advance trauma-informed approaches that help prevent and address gender-based violence in the workplace.
Outside of work, Angela enjoys gardening, baking pies, community involvement, and spending time with her two children and border collie.
