
Theresa Rennie
Meet our Provincial Coordinator for Trauma-Informed Justice Training, Theresa Rennie! Theresa has a background in working in corrections, Gladue writing, healthcare, victim services and non-profits. She enjoys working and learning from other cultures, peoples and being trauma-informed in all areas of her work. She believes we have much to teach one another in listening to the voices of survivors. She hopes to build a more inclusive and just future, rooted in the understanding, respect, and the pursuit of healing within the Justice systems.
Theresa is Cree and Scottish from Samson Nation. She loves spending time with her two sons riding their motorcycles, and beading jewelry. She enjoys volunteering in her community at several non-profits. Theresa likes to disappear in an audiobook in her beading room.

Will Jordan
Meet our Provincial Coordinator for Enough Already, Will Jordan.
Will is a strong advocate for increasing access to justice in ways that are meaningful and trauma-informed for those navigating the justice system. He holds a Bachelor of Human Justice from the University of Regina and a Master’s in Human Rights from the University of Manitoba. Prior to joining SASS, Will conducted victim-offender mediations for an alternative measures program, and continues to facilitate serious offence mediations through Correctional Services Canada’s Restorative Opportunities program.
During his spare time, Will enjoys being with his partner and their dog. He also is a member of the Saskatchewan Team Handball Federation that competes at both the national and international levels.

Josh Haugerud
Meet our Stakeholder Engagement Specialist, Josh Haugerud.
In the role, Josh will be working to implement the Enough Already initiative, which aims to prevent and address sexual harassment in Saskatchewan workplaces.
Josh is an experienced leader with a passion for music, health and safety, and community. His background includes time with the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce, St. John Ambulance, Regina Folk Festival and Regina Community Radio. His education includes a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Regina with majors in Political Science and Womens and Gender Studies.
Outside of work, Josh plays music, spends time with his partner and son, and loves to volunteer. Josh currently sits on the board of the Saskatchewan Arts Alliance and the White City Recreation Committee.

Ali Scott
Meet our Director of Operations, Ali Scott!
Ali brings a well-rounded background in human resources and leadership, with experience in the non-profit, interpersonal violence, childcare, and health sectors. She is passionate about building workplaces where people feel safe, supported, valued, and genuinely enjoy coming to work.
In her role, Ali focuses on strengthening the organization’s day-to-day operations and internal systems so the team can focus on what matters most – providing compassionate, trauma-informed support to service partners and their communities.
Outside of work, Ali loves kayaking and camping, is an avid reader, enjoys crafting and board games, and never passes up a cozy evening at home with her cat and two dogs.

Denise MacDonald
Meet our Provincial Coordinator for the First Responder to Sexual Assault and Abuse Training (FRT), Denise MacDonald.
Denise is a social change enthusiast who is confident that a better world is possible. As a public engagement practitioner, she encourages people’s empowerment through awareness raising and capacity building to move from knowledge to action.
Denise has worked for a world without poverty and to protect the ecosystems upon which we depend. She is passionate about intersectional gender justice, ending violence and working for peace. She believes that through cultural humility and embracing equity, diversity and decolonization, people’s human rights can be realized. Through collaboration, Denise is optimistic that we can create the systems change that is needed to end sexual violence within Saskatchewan and beyond.
Denise holds a BA (Hons) in International Development and Political Science from the University of Toronto and a Master’s Degree from the University of Regina with a focus on complexity and wicked problems. She is an avid volunteer who enjoys building community by bringing people together. She loves being in nature and feels a lot of gratitude every day.

Tal Marsolais
Meet our Communications and Community Outreach Specialist, Tal Marsolais.
Tal’s career has been focused on supporting non-profit organizations to craft memorable written and visual narratives. Tal couples her education in theatre with a love of community to create accessible and heartfelt communications.
At Sexual Assault Services of Saskatchewan, Tal establishes in-person, digital, and media relations to further understanding and action on sexual violence prevention in Saskatchewan.

Kerrie Isaac
Meet our Executive Director, Kerrie Isaac
Kerrie is our inspiring and energetic leader who is passionate about supporting individuals through education, networking, and collaborative opportunities to affect social change. Her career journey began in child development and education before she began her role as Executive Director of SASS in 2016. Since then, she has grown the organization into a team of academics and advocates who are passionate about addressing and preventing sexual violence in Saskatchewan.
Kerrie’s work at SASS is driven by the desire to amplify the work and voices of service providers who support survivors, to raise awareness of the prevalence of sexual violence in the province, and to create change through transformative conversation, educational resources, and collaborative partnerships.
Aside from working at SASS, Kerrie loves hiking, mountain biking, running, playing sports and spending time with her two sons.

Patience Umereweneza
Meet our Director of Research and Public Policy, Patience Umereweneza
Patience is a research expert and community connector whose wealth of knowledge has contributed to the development of the first comprehensive study on the state of sexual violence that led to the creation of SASS’s research report titled, “Sexual Violence in Saskatchewan: Voices, Stories, and Actions from the Front Lines.” informing the development of 22 actions outlined in Working Together, the first Saskatchewan Sexual Violence Action Plan.
Patience’s work at SASS is driven by the desire to work collaboratively with communities, stakeholders, and organizations to collectively advance the issue of sexual violence while providing resources that support survivors in their healing journey.
Aside from working at SASS, Patience loves to bake, read books, play the piano, spend time with loved ones and support community organizing efforts.
