Theresa Rennie
Meet our Provincial Coordinator for Trauma-Informed Justice Training, Theresa Rennie!
Theresa has a background in working in corrections, Gladue writing, healthcare, victim services and non-profits. She enjoys working and learning from other cultures, peoples and being trauma-informed in all areas of her work. She believes we have much to teach one another in listening to the voices of survivors. She hopes to build a more inclusive and just future, rooted in the understanding, respect, and the pursuit of healing within the Justice systems.
Theresa is Cree and Scottish from Samson Nation. She loves spending time with her two sons riding their motorcycles, and beading jewelry. She enjoys volunteering in her community at several non-profits. Theresa likes to disappear in an audiobook in her beading room.
“Education got us into this mess, and education will get us out of it!”
The late Honourable Murray Sinclair.
