As part of Sexual Violence Awareness Week from May 17-21, 2021 – SASS is hosting a Champions for Children Lunch & Learn Series with subject matter experts on cyber abuse, child trauma, and healing relationships. Join us in helping raise awareness for child sexual abuse through our social media campaign, Champions for Children. Champions for Children aims to educate and empower individuals in our communities who care for children to create a culture of belief surrounding child sexual abuse in Saskatchewan.
Throughout the week, we will be hosting webinars with subject matter experts, featuring guest bloggers, and providing educational information and resources on how we can all do our part in creating a culture of believe for child sexual abuse survivors.

Our virtual leadership forum, Exploring Changing Landscapes Through Diverse Perspectives of Sexual Violence took place on Thursday, March 25, 2021.
The forum explored the varying intersectionality of sexual violence experiences, emerging best practices and approaches, and the impacts of the pandemic on anti-violence work in the prairies and across Canada.
Subject matter experts from across Saskatchewan and Canada spoke on diverse perspectives of gender-based violence on topics including advancing BIPOC survivor experiences, feminist advocacy, decolonizing the healing process, anti-racism work, and more.
