Develop an annual leadership forum for issues related to Sexual Violence in the province for member agencies and their communities.
Provide targeted training that educates service providers and community members on current knowledge, best practices, and new findings in the area of sexual violence.
Highlight successful campaigns, programs, or resources that meet the needs of survivors in Saskatchewan and facilitate the sharing of these resources among member agencies and community members.
Provide a dedicated time and space for service providers to network and develop partnerships that promote collaborative leadership work across the province.
This annual training forum will recognize Saskatchewan leaders in the field of sexual violence prevention work and provide a space for them to share their expertise and knowledge to other agencies and communities across the province.
This annual training forum will provide an annual education event led by specialized sexual assault educators, targeting service providers and community members that support survivors of sexual violence.
A questionnaire evaluation will be completed at the end of annual leadership forum.
We will track attendance, identify participating sectors, and geographic communities represented to assess the reach of the event and identify community leaders that should be invited to participate in the future.
We will conduct a follow-up assessment with SASS member agencies to assess community impact of the leadership forum.
There is currently no specialized learning modules or training in Saskatchewan that service providers and community members can attend regularly to keep abreast on current knowledge and best practices in the field of sexual violence.
