Sexual Assault Awareness Week

Sexual Assault Awareness Week (SAAW)

May 10 to May 16, 2015

A provincially declared week to raise public awareness about sexual assault issues, and the services available in communities around the province that support survivors.

Sexual assault is a difficult issue to talk about, but we must talk loud and clear to end it.

We need to break the silence and the shame that affects 1 in 3 women and 1 in 5 men.

Saskatchewan has one of the highest rates of sexual assault in Canada - and the goal of SAAW is to educate on what it is and how to prevent it.

We can prevent sexual assault with your help - Check out the Event Ideas page and contact us for support on creating a campaign

Education is the key to prevention.
